Doesn't this look epic? Here's the teaser:

For thirty-five girls, the Selection is the chance of a lifetime. The opportunity to escape the life laid out for them since birth. To be swept up in a world of glittering gowns and priceless jewels. To live in the palace and compete for the heart of the gorgeous Prince Maxon.

But for America Singer, being Selected is a nightmare. It means turning her back on her secret love with Aspen, who is a caste below her. Leaving her home to enter a fierce competition for a crown she doesn't want. Living in a palace that is constantly threatened by violent rebel attacks.

Then America meets Prince Maxon. Gradually, she starts to question all the plans she's made for herself- and realizes that the life she's always dreamed of may not compare to a future she never imagined.

Omg, I cannot wait for it to come out!!!

The Hunger Games movie!

This movie was SO epic! You HAVE to go see it! But read the books first, because I don't respect people who are just obsessed with the movies. Enjoy!

Pogeria

Do you know what Progeria is? It's a genetic disease that affects children and causes their organs and cells to grow quicker than the rest of their body due to a mutation on th Lamen A gene. A child with this problem is born looking healthy, but around 9-24 months into life signs if the sickness will begin to make it's mark. That disease child will most likely die between ages 8 and 21. The average time of death is 13. There are only 53 known cases of Progeria in the world right now, and 2 in the UK. Currently there are no treatments for this disease, only pain relievers. Scientists believe that the medicine FTI used to cure cancer will help Progeria patients if used because hopefully it will reverse the abnormalities that are believed to cause the illness. People are working constantly to rid the disease Progeria from poor children.
Hayley Okines is a 14 year old girl with Progeria and she has suffered since 1999. She recently wrote a book called "Old before my Time: Hayley Okine's Life with Progeria" that can be purchased on Amazon.com.  She has baldness, arthritis and heart problems. She has no cure, but she has a loving family and people who care for her, and to Hayley, she seems to have a nice life aside from her disease. She goes to school and has many friends. Her family tries to lead a normal life with Hayley and always try to give her the experiences of a lifetime in her short one. She is determined to live and have a wonderful life while she can.
Isn't that sad? I had to write a report on this in school!
